Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crucifixion by Andrea di Bartolo was sold in the Maîtres Anciens - Dessins, Peintures, Sculptures auction at Christies in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 63,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andrea di Bartolo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Way to Calvary in June last year with an auction result of USD 630,000.00 (€ 601,776.67).
