Admittedly, works by André Villers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Young Gentleman, In Grey Silk Coat With Large Buttons Engraved With The Initials A And G Respectively, Turquoise And Yellow Striped Waistcoat, Frilled White Shirt And Knotted Scarf, Powdered Hair in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,384.45).
