Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Chapelle de Vallauris by André Villers for EUR 945.00. This price was achieved in the auction Photographie at Lempertz in Cologne and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Villers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Young Gentleman, In Grey Silk Coat With Large Buttons Engraved With The Initials A And G Respectively, Turquoise And Yellow Striped Waistcoat, Frilled White Shirt And Knotted Scarf, Powdered Hair in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,384.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Chapelle de Vallauris von André Villers für EUR 945,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographie bei Lempertz in Köln erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Villers erzielen.
