The work Soliflore by Andre Metthey was sold in the Intérieurs auction at Christies in Paris in June 2006. It achieved a price of EUR 600.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andre Metthey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cinq Coupes Et Trois Bols, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 1,440.00.

Die Arbeit Soliflore von Andre Metthey wurde im Juni 2006 in der Auktion Intérieurs bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 600,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Andre Metthey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cinq Coupes Et Trois Bols beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 1.440,00 versteigert wurde.
