Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pot Couvert by Andre Metthey was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2006. The price achieved of EUR 480.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andre Metthey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cinq Coupes Et Trois Bols, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 1,440.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pot Couvert von Andre Metthey kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 480,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Andre Metthey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cinq Coupes Et Trois Bols beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 1.440,00 versteigert wurde.
