Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Le Taureau Dans L'Arene, Arles by André Marchand. The price achieved of EUR 2,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by André Marchand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'otage in September 2010 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Taureau Dans L'Arene, Arles von André Marchand zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Marchand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'otage im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
