Upper estimate price exceeded by 34 %.
In March last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Auction, which included the work Scène de plage by André Maire. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,032.00 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by André Maire have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scène de plage in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 18,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scène de plage von André Maire zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.032,00 und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Maire auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scène de plage im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.900,00.
