This work of art by André Barbier could be acquired at Christies in Paris in September 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the INTERIEURS auction, the work La Seine Et Notre Dame Dans Le Brouillard changed hands for EUR 1,410.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by André Barbier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Notre Dame Et Le Quai Aux Fleurs in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,948.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von André Barbier konnte im September 2004 bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion INTERIEURS wechselte die Arbeit La Seine Et Notre Dame Dans Le Brouillard für EUR 1.410,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Barbier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Notre Dame Et Le Quai Aux Fleurs im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.948,18).
