Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Unwrapped, Part I: The Hidden World of Christo and Jeanne-Claude, which included the work Round Bar of Wood A 00102030 by André Cadere. The price achieved of EUR 107,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Cadere - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Barre de bois rond A 00321040, which sold at auction in October 2019 for EUR 237,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Unwrapped, Part I: The Hidden World of Christo and Jeanne-Claude durch, in der auch die Arbeit Round Bar of Wood A 00102030 von André Cadere zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 107.100,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von André Cadere mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Barre de bois rond A 00321040 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für EUR 237.500,00 versteigert wurde.
