Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Day Auction, which included the work Round Bar of Wood A 00213000 by André Cadere. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 94,500.00 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Cadere - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Barre de bois rond A 00321040, which sold at auction in October 2019 for EUR 237,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Round Bar of Wood A 00213000 von André Cadere zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 94.500,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von André Cadere mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Barre de bois rond A 00321040 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für EUR 237.500,00 versteigert wurde.
