Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Minuit juste by André Breton was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 22,750.00 (€ 26,972.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Breton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chanson-Objet in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 866,500.00 (€ 700,824.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Minuit juste von André Breton kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.750,00 (€ 26.972,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Breton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chanson-Objet im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 866.500,00 (€ 700.824,98).
