The work La bataille de Palerme, carthaginois et romains by André Bauchant was sold in the Art Moderne auction at Christies in Paris in October 2018. It achieved a price of EUR 16,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Bauchant - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Festival Du Village, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 53,125.00 (€ 36,953.95).

Die Arbeit La bataille de Palerme, carthaginois et romains von André Bauchant wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Art Moderne bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 16.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35 %. Für andere Arbeiten von André Bauchant mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Festival Du Village beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 53.125,00 (€ 36.953,95) versteigert wurde.
