The work Guan Yin by An Ho was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 26,286.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by An Ho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Horse Polo, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 750,000.00 (€ 82,546.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Guan Yin von An Ho wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 26.286,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von An Ho mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Horse Polo beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 750.000,00 (€ 82.546,36) versteigert wurde.
