Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled, 2005 by Amy Sillman. The price achieved of USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,108.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amy Sillman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Your Affection in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 870,000.00 (€ 770,798.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, 2005 von Amy Sillman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.108,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amy Sillman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Your Affection im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 870.000,00 (€ 770.798,26).
