Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California, which included the work Passage, 1999-2000 by Amy Sillman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 60,312.50 (€ 52,096.83), 21% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amy Sillman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Your Affection in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 870,000.00 (€ 770,798.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California durch, in der auch die Arbeit Passage, 1999-2000 von Amy Sillman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 60.312,50 (€ 52.096,83) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amy Sillman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Your Affection im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 870.000,00 (€ 770.798,26).
