Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alvin Langdon Coburn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vortograph in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 439,137.69).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.460,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alvin Langdon Coburn erzielen.
