Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alvin Langdon Coburn could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the MoMA: Tracing Photography's History auction, the work Moor Park (Lord Ebury), c. 1915 changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 533.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alvin Langdon Coburn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vortograph in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 439,137.69).
