Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Summer Day Overlooking San Diego Mission by Alson Skinner Clark. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,300.00 (€ 14,821.27). Admittedly, works by Alson Skinner Clark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In the Lock, Miraflores in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 81,260.00 (€ 82,447.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Summer Day Overlooking San Diego Mission von Alson Skinner Clark zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.300,00 (€ 14.821,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alson Skinner Clark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In the Lock, Miraflores im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.260,00 (€ 82.447,24).
