It achieved a price of USD 9,562.50 (€ 9,075.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Alson Skinner Clark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In the Lock, Miraflores in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 81,260.00 (€ 82,447.24).

Die Arbeit Road to the Hills von Alson Skinner Clark kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 9.075,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alson Skinner Clark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In the Lock, Miraflores im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.260,00 (€ 82.447,24).
