Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work French harbor scene by Alson Skinner Clark. The price achieved of USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,292.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alson Skinner Clark achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In the Lock, Miraflores in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 81,260.00 (€ 82,447.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French harbor scene von Alson Skinner Clark zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.845,00 (€ 4.292,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alson Skinner Clark erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In the Lock, Miraflores im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.260,00 (€ 82.447,24).
