Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage Au Crepuscule, 1921 by Alphonse Osbert was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in November 2009. The price achieved of EUR 1,530.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alphonse Osbert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Evening'S Tranquility in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 52,500.00.
