Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Étude De Sous-Bois by Alphonse Osbert. It changed hands for a price of EUR 787.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alphonse Osbert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Evening'S Tranquility in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 52,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Étude De Sous-Bois von Alphonse Osbert zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 787,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alphonse Osbert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In The Evening'S Tranquility im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.500,00.
