The work Female Torso by Alphonse Legros was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2013. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,539.12). With this result, Female Torso is even the most expensive work of art by Alphonse Legros that we have observed at auctions so far.
