It achieved a price of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,146.10), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Allen Tucker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mount Desert Island, Maine, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 32,200.00 (€ 20,373.30).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.146,10) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von Allen Tucker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mount Desert Island, Maine beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 32.200,00 (€ 20.373,30) versteigert wurde.
