Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Along The Coast by Allen Tucker. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,228.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Allen Tucker have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2008 the work Mount Desert Island, Maine was auctioned for USD 32,200.00 (€ 20,373.30).

Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Along The Coast von Allen Tucker zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.228,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden.
