In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art; Maritime Art; Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work The Racehorse Kingswood With C. Wood Up, The Trainer Sherrad And Sir G. Chetwynnd, Bart., Lord Lurgan, And Mr E.H. Benson Standing Nearby by Allen Culpepper Sealy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,335.92), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Allen Culpepper Sealy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tattenham Corner, The Derby, 1880, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 22,800.00 (€ 33,551.74).

Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art; Maritime Art; Sporting & Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Racehorse Kingswood With C. Wood Up, The Trainer Sherrad And Sir G. Chetwynnd, Bart., Lord Lurgan, And Mr E.H. Benson Standing Nearby von Allen Culpepper Sealy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.335,92) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Allen Culpepper Sealy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tattenham Corner, The Derby, 1880 beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 22.800,00 (€ 33.551,74) versteigert wurde.
