Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Blanche Moreau by Alison Watt. The price achieved of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 98,515.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Alison Watt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2007 the work Sleeper; Fragment Ii was auctioned for GBP 78,000.00 (€ 115,848.01).

Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blanche Moreau von Alison Watt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 72.500,00 (€ 98.515,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Alison Watt konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2007 die Arbeit Sleeper; Fragment Ii für GBP 78.000,00 (€ 115.848,01) versteigert.
