Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Adultera. Il Giudice, La Maddalena, Il Vescovo by Aligi Sassu was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2007. It changed hands for a price of EUR 14,650.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aligi Sassu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gli alfieri, which sold at auction in May 2000 for ITL 68,150,000.00 (€ 58,447.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Adultera. Il Giudice, La Maddalena, Il Vescovo von Aligi Sassu wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 14.650,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Aligi Sassu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gli alfieri beobachtet, die im Mai 2000 für ITL 68.150.000,00 (€ 58.447,68) versteigert wurde.
