Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Il grande cavallo rosso by Aligi Sassu. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aligi Sassu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gli alfieri in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 68,150,000.00 (€ 58,447.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il grande cavallo rosso von Aligi Sassu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.800,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aligi Sassu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gli alfieri im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 68.150.000,00 (€ 58.447,68).
