Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aligi Sassu could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Moderrn and Contemporary Art auction, the work Cavalli changed hands for EUR 4,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aligi Sassu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gli alfieri in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 68,150,000.00 (€ 58,447.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aligi Sassu konnte im Mai 2013 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Moderrn and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Cavalli für EUR 4.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aligi Sassu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gli alfieri im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 68.150.000,00 (€ 58.447,68).
