In the Day Sale - Zeitgenössische Kunst & Moderne Kunst auction, the work Selbstportrait (10361 x 25p) sold for EUR 756.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 260.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alicja Kwade achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parallelwelt (Schwarz/Weiß) (Parallel Universe (Black/White)) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 55,800.26).
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alicja Kwade erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Lempertz in Köln einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Day Sale - Zeitgenössische Kunst & Moderne Kunst wurde die Arbeit Selbstportrait (10361 x 25p) für EUR 756,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 260,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alicja Kwade erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parallelwelt (Schwarz/Weiß) (Parallel Universe (Black/White)) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 55.800,26).
