This artwork by Alice Baber achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in January 2008. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Music of The Jaguar sold for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,347.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alice Baber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November this year with an auction result of USD 95,250.00 (€ 87,321.23).
