Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Collected Ghost Stories from the Workhouse (from How to Catch and Manufacture Ghosts) by Alice Aycock for USD 625.00 (€ 533.91). This price was achieved in the auction Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Alice Aycock have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Armageddon Allegra Trio Light in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,453.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Collected Ghost Stories from the Workhouse (from How to Catch and Manufacture Ghosts) von Alice Aycock für USD 625,00 (€ 533,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alice Aycock auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Armageddon Allegra Trio Light im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.453,15).
