This artwork by Ali Imam achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in May last year. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Figure on a Horse) sold for GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,999.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. This high result makes Untitled (Figure on a Horse) the most expensive artwork by Ali Imam that we have observed at auctions so far.
