This artwork by Ali Imam achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in May last year. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Figure on a Horse) sold for GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,999.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00.
