In October 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Stardust by Ali Banisadr. The auction ended at the price of GBP 350,000.00 (€ 405,974.90), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 280,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by Ali Banisadr have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2020 the work Motherboard was auctioned for USD 572,000.00 (€ 485,816.21).

Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stardust von Ali Banisadr zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 350.000,00 (€ 405.974,90) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 280.000,00 – 350.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ali Banisadr konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2020 die Arbeit Motherboard für USD 572.000,00 (€ 485.816,21) versteigert.
