Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Conquered by Alfredo Pina was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,856.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfredo Pina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Secret De La Terre, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 20,800.00.
