Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Alfredo Pina achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. In the Home & Interiors Collections auction, the work A French Patinated Bronze Figural Group: The Kiss sold for USD 17,920.00 (€ 16,428.31) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alfredo Pina; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Le Secret De La Terre sold at auction in June 2021 with the realized price of EUR 20,800.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfredo Pina erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Home & Interiors Collections wurde die Arbeit A French Patinated Bronze Figural Group: The Kiss für USD 17.920,00 (€ 16.428,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alfredo Pina; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Le Secret De La Terre im Juni 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 20.800,00.
