Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Seascape by Alfred Thompson Bricher for USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,925.90). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Thompson Bricher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Afternoon, Southampton Beach in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 214,224.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seascape von Alfred Thompson Bricher für USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.925,90) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Thompson Bricher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Afternoon, Southampton Beach im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 214.224,51).
