In the American Art auction, the work Lake George sold for USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,802.84) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Thompson Bricher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Afternoon, Southampton Beach in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 214,224.51).
