Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2016 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Picking Flowers by Alfred Seifert. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,455.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Seifert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The maiden's suiter in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 14,100.00 (€ 15,115.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Picking Flowers von Alfred Seifert zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.455,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Seifert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The maiden's suiter im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.100,00 (€ 15.115,78).
