Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flora by Alfred Seifert was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Seifert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The maiden's suiter, which sold at auction in May 2000 for USD 14,100.00 (€ 15,115.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flora von Alfred Seifert kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfred Seifert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The maiden's suiter beobachtet, die im Mai 2000 für USD 14.100,00 (€ 15.115,78) versteigert wurde.
