Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition - Circa 1960 by Alfred Manessier was auctioned at Artcurial in October last year. The price achieved of EUR 236.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Manessier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Soir d'été dans la Baie de Somme - 1947 in June this year with an auction result of EUR 223,040.00.

Die Arbeit Composition - Circa 1960 von Alfred Manessier kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 236,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Manessier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Soir d'été dans la Baie de Somme - 1947 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 223.040,00.
