Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les crabes - 1943 by Alfred Manessier was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. It achieved a price of EUR 7,216.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Manessier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Soir d'été dans la Baie de Somme - 1947 in June this year with an auction result of EUR 223,040.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les crabes - 1943 von Alfred Manessier wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.216,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Manessier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Soir d'été dans la Baie de Somme - 1947 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 223.040,00.
