The work "Barques" by Alfred Manessier was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 115,000.00 (€ 9,908.95), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Manessier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Soir d'été dans la Baie de Somme - 1947 in June this year with an auction result of EUR 223,040.00.

Die Arbeit "Barques" von Alfred Manessier wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 115.000,00 (€ 9.908,95) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Manessier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Soir d'été dans la Baie de Somme - 1947 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 223.040,00.
