Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,085.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred de Bréanski Jnr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evening, The Slopes of Ben Nevis; And Ben Tigh, which sold at auction in March 2006 for GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,334.15).
