Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Au But (The Finishing Line) by Alfred Boucher was sold in the European Art: Paintings & Sculpture auction at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,779.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Boucher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frenchl'Hirondelle Blessée in February 2017 with an auction result of GBP 85,000.00 (€ 99,481.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Au But (The Finishing Line) von Alfred Boucher wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion European Art: Paintings & Sculpture bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.779,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Boucher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frenchl'Hirondelle Blessée im Februar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 85.000,00 (€ 99.481,54).
