Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction The Russian Sale, which included the work 'Evening After The Storm' by Alexei Mikhailovich Gritsai. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,287.50 (€ 9,657.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexei Mikhailovich Gritsai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evening In The Birch Grove, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,841.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Russian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Evening After The Storm' von Alexei Mikhailovich Gritsai zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.287,50 (€ 9.657,09) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexei Mikhailovich Gritsai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Evening In The Birch Grove beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.841,55) versteigert wurde.
