The work Spring by Alexei Mikhailovich Gritsai was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,324.94), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexei Mikhailovich Gritsai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evening In The Birch Grove, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,841.55).
