The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,500.00 63% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Istrati - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, Circa 1950, which sold at auction in February 2008 for EUR 18,588.00.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.500,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Istrati mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre, Circa 1950 beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für EUR 18.588,00 versteigert wurde.
