Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Women With A Lyre by Alexandra Exter was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,284.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandra Exter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Puriste in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,022,500.00 (€ 1,277,564.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Women With A Lyre von Alexandra Exter wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.284,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandra Exter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Puriste im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.022.500,00 (€ 1.277.564,83).
